Hard rock of the 60's and 70's got modern tempos and more powerful guitar sound.

The band, starting with the guitar duo of Dániel Balogh and Márton Simonyi, evolved into a full hard rock band in 2008. The band was first joined by Ákos Szerencsés on the drummer's post. Later came Lilla Mészáros as a bass player, and with her joining Code Civil, the consistence of the band solidified. The subsequent period was spent concerting through the clubs of Budapest, along with participating at various talent spotters with good rankings: Metalschool talent spotter finals, Unicum Rock Festival second place, and an opportunity to play at the Fringe Festival at Pécs. After various demo and concert recordings, which have been done throughout the years, the band published its first studio album, named "II". Their song, called "Átok vagy áldás" (Curse or Bless), which was recorded with the help of Gábor Nóniusz in Metal Cleaner studio and was No. 4 on their "II" album won with a record breaking number of votes in the radio show called Lalikirály on the radio channel named NEO FM. This allowed Code Civil to join the radio hosts on a three-hour-long interview on one of the biggest commercial radio channels. After another period spent concerting, the group wrote their second album, "Ami jár" (What's Yours), on which their songs rooting from the rock music of the 60's and 70's got modern tempos and more powerful guitar sounds. It was recorded at SuperSize Recording at Törökbálint, where Gábor Nóniusz already took credit as a producer. The music video clip made for the title song of the album, which has also been published physically, can be watched on the Hungarian music channels any time.
