Sleep to Dream

"I was just ten years old, when I took the guitar of my dad and started to play Beatles songs.“ – Daniel Striffler. More or less you would call this “the classical way” of a young musician who has already known the prototype of the Pop bands at that time. For many years Daniel gained experiences with his own band on a lot of stages, supporting Silbermond, H-Blockx, Mando Diao, Oomph, Die Happy, Revolverheld, Clawfinger and many more different bands. Now he expresses himself not only with his multi-faceted voice, but also with his individual style of playing the guitar or creating composed parts for the piano or the strings. His songs are boisterous, outspoken and youthful but then gentle and reflective. They’re dealing with hope and frustration, with the daily routine and of course with the greatest love of all. Daniel is an artist with ambition combined with the desire for conveying his attitude to the rest of the world. ____________________________________________________________________ „Mit 10 Jahren habe ich mir die Gitarre meines Vaters geschnappt und angefangen Beatles Songs nachzuspielen“ – Daniel Striffler. Der eher klassische Weg eines jungen Musikers, der anscheinend schon zum damaligen Zeitpunkt die Vorbilder der Popmusik schlechthin erkannte. Nach bereits mehrjähriger Erfahrung mit seiner eigens gegründeten Band, berockte Daniel schon etliche Bühnen des Musikgeschäfts, um unter anderem Bands wie Silbermond, H-Blockx, Mando Diao, Oomph, Die Happy, Revolverheld oder Clawfinger zu supporten. In seinem Soloprojekt drückt er sich allerdings nicht nur durch seine facettenreiche Stimme aus, sondern verleiht seinen Songs durch sein Gitarrenspiel sowie durch Piano- oder Streicherpassagen seinen ganz eigenen Stil. Die Songs sind mal laut und mal leise, mal direkt und jung, dann wieder nachdenklich und verträumt. Sie handeln von Hoffnung, Enttäuschung, dem banalen Alltag und natürlich von der ganz großen Liebe. Ein Künstler mit Ehrgeiz und dem unstillbaren Verlangen sich der Welt mitzuteilen.
