Shakuhachi Impressions

The dreamy character of the Shakuhachi, the gentle sounds of the Hang – accentuated by flowing water or percussive finger play – can be used not only for inner concentration but also for active regeneration, in order to get back into one’s own centre. For this reason, this CD is just as suitable for meditation as it is for background music for therapeutic settings, in which what is sought is calm, relaxation and an “inner openess” – for example during a massage, medical treatment or in the waiting room. The musicians and sound artists Hilmar Hajek and Joerg Kerll are giving concerts since 2001 and have become known by their name KlangDuo. Besides their work as a professional orchestra-musician and founder of the sound centre in Osnabrueck - Germany, they create fantastic musical productions in their own recording studio for different ranges of applications, their project name is DeepMindRelaxation.
