Ashman DJ presents… General Asylum Project – 808 Destruction! The intriguing new alias from the London based DJ/Producer first appeared last year with his regular 100% eclectic Radio Show on London’s leading DeJaVu FM. The sole purpose of this new guise: to create an avenue by which the multi-talented DJ/Producer could release cutting edge experimental music in the Electronic/Techno/Grime field whilst still staying true to his House (& Garage!) roots. General Asylum Project also represents a coming together of like minded musical individuals to create new sounds which reflect their personalities and journeys. The first General Asylum Project (G.A.P) release follows in that exact tradition, taking influence from legendary Techno producers such as Derrick May and Kyle Hall but also drawing on the influences of UK based Grime beatmakers as well as 80s synth pop and Sci-fi. 808 Destruction is definitely one for the Dancefloors and Dance Music Radio Stations worldwide!
