"After Dark" new solo album by Patxi Pascual Composer & Saxo Player
Patxi Pascual (saxophone and flute) is a Spanish Jazz musician with a long and celebrated artistic and professional career. In "After Dark" he demonstrates his love for the music, rhythms and musical instruments (Ney, Bansuri, Duduk) from all over the world. In the tracks Cosa de Payos and Trance Sax he doffs his hat to Flamenco music, or to Hindu sounds in Patxist·n. African and Arab influences are also evident in Al Sudan Kafak and Ray·. In this project he has enlisted the help of John Patitucci, Paul Wertico, Julio Awad or the Sudanese vocalist Rasha; all great musicians and better friends. This is quite simply music created to stir the emotions. Recorded at PAAR Studios Produced, Recorded and Mixed by Felix Botana, Patxi Pascual & Julio Awad. Matering by Mario G. Alberni (Kadifornia Mastering)
